The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), which oversees the program, declined to comment on whether Boies Schiller has applied for a PPP loan. The agency previously told Reuters that it would post individual loan data when its current round of PPP funding runs out. But it did not say whether that data will include borrower names or amounts or detail what it plans to release. Jeffrey Epstein, Blackmail and a Lucrative ‘Hot List’

A shadowy hacker claimed to have the financier’s sex tapes. Two top lawyers wondered: What would the men in those videos pay to keep them secret?

Certainly the four firms ‘ Kirkland & Ellis; Latham & Watkins; Quinn Emanuel; and Skadden ‘ are prestigious adversaries in any matter. But giving them this ‘fearsome’ label seems like handing a bunch of paper pushers a leather jacket and letting them pretend they’re the Sons of Anarchy or something. It indulges the worst impulses of the legal profession to reward ‘fear’ and incentivize people to act like unreasonable jerks in litigation. At least when labeled ‘most respected adversaries’ firms aren’t encouraged to front.
