Some Facebook Marketplace listings were only hours old, while others had been up for days. The Verge was able to find listings located in states across the US with some sellers offering to mail them to buyers for an additional fee. The face masks were being sold for anywhere from 75 cents to $1,000 apiece. ‘Don’t get caught off guard when someone coughs next to you,’ one listing from Kansas City, Missouri, read. ‘Last ones in the city.’

‘Supplies are short, prices are up, and we’re against people exploiting this public health emergency,’ tweeted Adam Mosseri, the head of Facebook-owned Instagram, last week.

Cincinnati Zoo Pairs Cheetah Cub With Rescue Puppy and They Become Best Friends

The Cincinnati Zoo paired a cheetah cub with a rescue puppy together for companionship and the duo became unlikely new friends.

Typically, when cheetahs have only one or two cubs survive in a litter, they would often abandon those cubs and stop producing milk for them. That’s what prompted zookeepers to hand-raise Kris.

The cub was still left’without the companionship that she would have received in a larger litter with her siblings.

Zookeepers decided to make the pup named Remus the cub’s ‘surrogate sibling’ so it would’ grow up with a friend, the zoo said.

Home surveillance captures rare footage of five mountain lions together in California

PIONEER, Calif. (KTXL) ‘Surveillance video from a home in Amador County captured the’rare sight of five mountain lions together.

‘We shared the videos and photos with several of our wildlife biologists and none of them could recall ever seeing five mountain lions together in the same photo or video,’ said California Department of Fish and Wildlife spokesperson Peter Tira.

According to the biologists, the only time more than one mountain lion can be seen together is either during the mating season or when a mother is raising her cubs, but typically only three at most are seen together.
