A Florida man said he’s no longer allowed to play his tuba at the beach. Derrick Nangle said beach patrol stopped him while he was cranking on tunes at Ft. Myers Beach on Friday, according to WBBH.
Nangle, a music therapy major at Florida Gulf Coast University, said he loves to play and called music the ‘absence of stress.’
Roger Herndstadt, a town manager, told Nangle that playing his tuba violated the entertainment ordinance.
Nangle wrote to the town council to ask the rules be changed, but Herdndstadt said unless that happens, officials can fine him for disobeying it, according to WBBH.
