Fox News Anchor Harris Faulkner Wants Leslie Jones to Play Her in A Movie

Leslie Jones impersonated Harris Faulkner on last weekend’s season premiere of “Saturday Night Live,” and she has the stamp of approval from the Fox News anchor herself.

Faulkner, who is one of 50 honorees to make Variety‘s New Power of New York list in this week’s issue, told Variety that she’d like for “SNL’s” Jones to play her in a movie, when asked who she’d like to play her in one of the Roger Ailes projects currently in the works.

Twilight Returns to Theaters for 10th Anniversary

‘We want to give fans an experience they could never replicate at home,’ says Tom Lucas, VP of studio relations at Fathom Events, the company hosting the screenings. ‘They’ll be seeing ‘Twilight’ in a movie theater on the big screen with other fans, sharing the passion and excitement in a communal environment. We also see this as a chance to introduce the movie to a new generation of fans that were not old enough to see it in theaters 10 years ago.’

‘Twilight’ is the first title to return to the big screen as part of Fathom’s ‘Fathom Spotlight’ series. The company says it will be bringing back more ‘blockbusters, modern classics and fan-favorite films’ in coming months.

Harris Faulkner Tells Us What Fox News HQ Was Like During the Kavanaugh

On Oct. 2, 2017, Fox News Channel anchor Harris Faulkner became one of five women to host her own daily hour on Fox News. Her hard work and patience during the tough times at the network paid off, and Faulkner, who joined FNC in 2005, is now the only African American woman with a daily program on one of the three major cable news networks.

Not only does Faulkner presently solo host the network’s 1 p.m. hour, named Outnumbered Overtime, but she’s a longtime co-host on the show that precedes it, Outnumbered.

We caught up with Faulkner to get her thoughts on the state of Outnumbered Overtime, one year in, as well as what Fox News HQ was like during last week’s Kavanaugh-Ford hearings, and being portrayed by Leslie Jones on last week’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
