[ Is a secret Marvel character hiding in plain sight in WandaVision? ]
With just a couple of days until the launch of WandaVision on Disney+, there’s still quite a big mystery surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first foray into TV. How is Vision still alive?

Read More.

So far, we still have no answers ‘ but that hasn’t stopped Marvel fans poring over every single clue they can find to work out what could be going on, whether that’s frame-by-frame analysis of the various trailers and TV spots or going back to the comics to see if there are any hints as to what we could expect.

And now a few online sleuths think they may have found something ‘ or at least, someone, specifically Kathryn Hahn’s ‘nosy neighbour’ character Agnes who looks set to play a central role in WandaVision week to week.

While Agnes appears to be a harmless part of Wanda and Vision’s small town world, the theory is that she’s actually representing a pretty key character from the comics called Agatha Harkness, hence her first name (Agatha Harkness). In said comics, Agatha is a powerful witch who has lived for centuries and often pitches in to help various superheroes, including a period where she worked as a nanny for the Fantastic Four.

What to watch on TV in lockdown: Here are the new shows to get excited about

With full lockdowns under way across the UK once again, it’s time to spend (even more) time in front of our TVs.

* * *

The look and feel of the time is vividly recreated and the story well told. On the downside, there’s a lot of time-hopping, which can get a bit confusing, but it’s a slick drama that’s well worth your concentration.

Adapted from Deborah Harkness’ best-selling trilogy of novels, this is a romantic thriller about a secret underworld of vampires, witches and demons, hiding in plain sight for fear of persecution by humans.

New cast members include Steven Cree (Outlander) as Gallowglass De Clermont, a vampire and soldier of fortune who is particularly fond of his uncle, Matthew. Sheila Hancock appears as elder witch Goody Alsop, while James Purefoy stars as Philippe De Clermont – founder of the Congregation, commander of the Knights of Lazarus, mate of Ysabeau, and stepfather to Matthew. (Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons, Khaleesi… etc eat your heart out).

Secret Invasion Could Come to Disney+, Tie to Captain Marvel 2

Marvel may have a Secret Invasion comic story coming to live-action soon and the social media whisper gang seems to believe it is going to happen on Disney+. Marvel Studios and Disney have given no official indication in terms of an announcement, production, title, or release date for the popular comic story to be adapted but details from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and claims from some scoopers around the Internet seem to imply a series is coming. Given the timeline of upcoming movies, the claims make sense in regard to how the story would unfold in the MCU’s canon but could still be wishful thinking, at this point.
