Dad dressed as Nazi, 5-year-old son as Hitler for Halloween ‘mistreated,’ dad says

OWENSBORO, KY. (AP) – A Kentucky man posted online that he and his 5-year-old son were mistreated while dressed as Nazis for a Halloween event and is now facing even more backlash.

News outlets report Bryant Goldbach posted online a picture of him and his son Friday, saying they attended a ‘Trail of Treats’ event where they were threatened over their costumes. The post says Goldbach dressed as a Nazi officer and his son as Adolf Hitler because of the family’s love of history.

It says “we had the displeasure of dealing with the fruits of the so called ‘Tolerant Left.’ ” Goldbach has since said the costumes were in poor taste and apologized.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -As the Southeast Missouri State University football team heads to round two of the FCS playoffs, a proud mom will follow them to Utah to cheer on her son.

‘He would look up to me I remember as a 6-year-old and say, ‘Mom I really wanna play on that field someday’. And, I can remember exactly saying as parents do, and he made his dreams come true,’ said Julia Unnerstall, mother of Zach Stagner, the Redhawks long snapper.

‘And I always go back to the first time that we met Coach Tuke, and he invited us in for an official visit. And what an incredible journey,’ said Unnerstall.

Pike Co. Massacre: Wagner son makes court appearance

Edward ‘Jake’ Wagner traded his jail uniform for blue jeans and a black, button-down shirt with a white t-shirt underneath. His brown hair was tied neatly back in a ponytail.

Pike County Common Pleas Court Judge Randy Deering asked Wagner if he was satisfied with his legal counsel, seated on either side of him at the defense table.

By that time, Deering said, prosecutors and defense attorneys will have drafted a copy of the gag order Deering imposed in the case last month when Wagner made his first court appearance.

The gag order will be presented to the judge, argued in court and then ruled on by Deering, who will then officially enter it into the court record.
