First and foremost, Jackson actor Kedar Williams-Stirling explained the sex scenes ‘weren’t awkward at all. Not at all”.

‘We had a workshop before [the show] where we studied different animals having sex and then that would kind of come into play with how our characters are having sex.’

The role of the sex intimacy director was to help differentiate the actors’ personal lives and their characters’ sex lives.

This allowed each of the actors to get into the headspace required to pull off the various scenes throughout the eight episodes.

Why Netflix’s You Is Extremely Problematic

You follows the story of student Guinevere (nicknamed Beck), who meets Joe in the New York bookstore he works in – all sounds pretty normal, right?

Because Joe is an attractive, intelligent 20-something male who occasionally holds the car door open for the girl who’s head he’s spent the last few months getting inside of. Like we didn’t already learn our lesson from Dan Humphrey – ladies, we really gotta raise our expectations here.

Since the show aired, it’s taken social media by storm with many girls (as young as 15) begging Penn Badgley, who plays Joe, to “kidnap them” and expressing their love for a toxic, abusive character, that outside of his attractive privilege in the real world, would probably be asking for an internet bashing and a lengthy prison sentence.

Will ‘Ultraviolet’ Return For Season 2? The Polish Crime Drama Is Already A Hit

Ultraviolet is one of the newest additions to Netflix’s arsenal of crime dramas, and it sounds like an interesting new twist that could take off among fans of the genre. In the show, online sleuths solve crimes with the help of their internet friends, and things get intense pretty quickly. So will Ultraviolet return for Season 2?

There’s no official word yet ‘ but there could be good news on the way. reports that the show originally aired on Poland’s AXN channel in late 2017, and that the network plans to pick it up for a second season. That doesn’t necessarily mean that Netflix will choose to stream additional episodes once they become available ‘ the service will likely want to analyze its own viewership data of the first season before deciding on if it’s worth another pickup ‘ but a potential renewal on Ultraviolet’s original channel definitely bodes well for any American viewers who the show leaves wanting more.
