The introduction of secret agent antics into Fortnite has finally suckered me in

The problem with all of this is that I have long been apathetic about Fortnite. Epic’s cartoon battle royale behemoth has always been at the bottom of the pile when it comes to islands that I’d like to base jump out of a moving plane for. I’m old enough to remember receiving a review code for the game when it was a mediocre base-building wave shooter where you had to fend off legions of zombies. If you can't read any manga and all the images die completely, Please change to "Image server" ! It was pants then and I was naively convinced that it would never recover, sticking to PUBG out of zealous fealty to Brendan Greene, the underdog who I felt had his debatably novel concept ripped off and turned into marketing sludge.

Call of Duty: Warzone’s best mode is Plunder

A small wrinkle makes Plunder even more unique: the money that you collect doesn’t belong to the squad, at least not until it’s deposited. Plunder uses the same map as Warzone’s battle royale. The map, Verdansk, is full of varied locations for firefights ‘ from dams to forests to several different massive urban locations that give it the kind of expansive feel that most battle royale maps have.

Is FX on Hulu Disney’s Secret Weapon to Capture Grown-Ups in the Streaming Wars?

The entertainment monolith’s streaming wars strategy is kind of baffling until you recall that it has diverted all of its TV-MA and R-rated titles to its other streaming platform, Hulu. (Disney also recently moved an upcoming series based on the hit Fox 2000 movie Love, Simon’an almost aggressively wholesome PG-13 dramedy about a gay teen who struggles to come out’from Disney+ to Hulu, raising the question of what exactly ‘family-friendly’ means to the company.) It’s on this front that Disney will fight Netflix and Amazon, as well as Warner Media’s HBO Max and NBCUniversal’s Peacock, each set to launch this spring. Judging by Hulu’s ambitious output over the past few months, the service has been quietly gearing up for that confrontation. With the launch of FX on Hulu, a streaming hub for both current and older titles from the cable network, those efforts seem likely to generate a whole lot more attention.

Planet Plastic – Rolling Stone

The battle pits Udall and his allies in Congress against some of the most powerful corporate interests on the planet, including the oil majors and chemical giants that produce the building blocks for our modern plastic world ‘ think Exxon, Dow, and Shell ‘ and consumer giants like Coca-Cola, Nestl’, and Unilever that package their products in the stuff. Big Plastic isn’t a single entity. It’s more like a corporate supergroup: Big Oil meets Big Soda ‘ with a puff of Big Tobacco, responsible for trillions of plastic cigarette butts in the environment every year. And it combines the lobbying and public-relations might of all three.
